HOW DRONES CAN HELP KEEP US HEALTY

ANIMATION/INFOGRAPHIC

In a remote part of the Congo the sky is humming. Overhead, a drone is poised to drop down onto a wooden jetty. Beneath it stands a doctor in a white lab coat awaiting her delivery: the drone is carrying vital PPE supplies. It’s one of many ways drone technology is now being employed in healthcare. From surveying populations for disease, to spraying for malaria in Zanzibar, in this film we explore three of the latest innovations and speak to the experts behind the technologies.
