Panspermia (from the Greek: πᾶς, πᾶσα, πᾶν (pas, pasa, pan) “all” and σπέρμα “seed”) is the theory that “the seeds of life” may be sewn throughout the Universe, and that life on earth may have began with the arrival of these “seeds”.
